How to Raise a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who reaches Boatsmedicine Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what to expect afterward. It is a general template and is not legal advice.

What You Can Tell Us About

You are welcome to contact us about any of these:

  • Your experience when you called or contacted Boatsmedicine Pest Control
  • The way your personal information was handled
  • Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
  • The conduct of a provider we connected you with

If the Problem Is With a Provider

Providers in our network are independent businesses. They answer for their own estimates, prices, products, work and customer service. If you have trouble with work done in your home, the usual first step is to talk with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.

Still, we would like to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who often fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Boatsmedicine Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, refund a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.

If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you can also contact the agency in New York that regulates pest control.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@boatsmedicine.garden and include the following:

  • Your name and the easiest way to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the provider
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The provider's name, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what you hope we can do

What Comes Next

You can expect an email from us confirming we received your complaint, usually within a few business days. We then look into what happened. That may include contacting the provider. After that, we write back with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If our reply does not settle things, write back and ask us to look again. You may also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
